Deleting your OSCAR account

This page explains how to delete your account in the OSCAR – Mon assistant location application (Android, iOS and web), published by Lou Ma Immobilier, and what happens to your data.

Requesting the complete deletion of your account

  1. Send an email to programneufs@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my OSCAR account”.
  2. Send it from the email address linked to your OSCAR account (otherwise we will ask you to confirm that you are the account holder).
  3. We check that the request comes from the account holder, then delete your account within one month at most, in accordance with the GDPR.

You do not need to install or open the application to make this request.

From the application

If you are logged in, open Mes données (My data) → Fermer mon compte (Close my account), enter your password and confirm.

To protect you from a mistake or fraudulent access to your account, deletion is not immediate: it takes place 30 days after the request. An email is sent to you straight away with a link to cancel it, and you can also cancel it from the application. During these 30 days nothing is erased: you can still export your data and download your documents.

Remember to cancel any paid subscription first (Subscriptions section): deleting the account does not cancel it automatically.

Data deleted

  • Your login credentials (email, password, two-factor authentication): logging in is no longer possible
  • Your name and telephone number, on your profile and your tenant records
  • The content of your conversations with the Oscar assistant

Data kept and for how long

Some data must be kept to meet our legal obligations (accounting, tax) or to allow legal claims to be defended. It is then archived, no longer used, and deleted at the end of these periods:

  • Payments and invoices: 10 years
  • Signed documents (check-in reports…): 10 years
  • Security audit log: 5 years

Data that also concerns other users (for example a rental shared between an owner and their tenant) remains accessible to those other users, without your anonymised personal information.

Deleting only some data

You can also ask for part of your data to be deleted without deleting your account, at the same address: programneufs@gmail.com. More details in our privacy policy.
